Liberty Fitz Claridge

Senior Teacher

My first experience of teaching English was as a brief stint in Italy in the year before I started university. Years later, in 2018, I got what I thought would be a summer job in a language school, and have been teaching ever since. Since then I've also started a Masters in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching, which has been helping me to develop professionally.

I like to study other languages in my spare time, especially Hebrew. I’m also interested in philosophy and have written articles and reviewed submissions to philosophy journals. I'm looking forward to drawing connections between philosophy and the ideas I've come across in English language teaching.
